Agreements/Licenses

Covalent has two options available to customers purchasing software products:

  • The commercial license allows customers to provide commercial software licenses to their customers or distribute Covalent-based applications within their organization.

  • The subscription license allows Covalent to provide the new features and fixes customers want along with the expert support resources required without the overhead of license fees. The subscription license allows customers to use Covalent's software at no charge under the condition that the customer utilizes Covalent for its maintenance and support needs.
The complete terms for Covalent's commerical license, subscription license, support and service offerings may be found by selecting the appropriate agreement below.

The news that Covalent Technologies is offering commercial support for Apache Geronimo 1.0, an open source J2EE application server, sort of acts like a young Dutch finger being pulled from a dike....Indeed, for Covalent to dive deep on Geronimo shows that it's willing to bet big on the success of Geronimo. And that should mean that others will bet big on it too.
